OSINT researcher @moklasen identified records of this strategy in the village of Novovasylivka, where one of the soldiers fell after losing control of the scooter, suggesting a lack of proper training.

In December, the 12th Azov Special Operations Brigade released a video showing the Russian attempts to advance with electric scooters, armored vehicles, and infantry in the Toretsk sector.

Ukrainian troops, with support from drones and mechanized forces, managed to halt these advances. In a previous operation, soldiers from the 53rd and 93rd Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated a group of Russians in Toretsk, preventing them from establishing themselves in the city’s industrial zone.
